With the market opening next week, I have been mentally preparing my long shopping list of food that I have missed over the winter. We always need more maple syrup, flour and fresh local greens. The kids only have eyes for ice cream and the market is a good excuse to have pizza for breakfast. But most of all, I am looking forward to seeing the people of the market – the vendors, our volunteers, and our customers. Spending the day outside in the park and feeding off the vibrancy of the market – I can hardly wait.
