  1. Cook 1 lb of strawberries in saucepan till they begin to breakdown. Add sugar, salt and pepper and cook till mixture is saucy. Add balsamic vinegar and cook 5 more minutes. Take off heat and stir in sliced berries.
  2. We like this served with goat’s cheese on crostini
