AboutMy name is Neville Klug, and Nev’s Sandwiches is more than just a food business — it’s the result of years spent growing up around the Ottawa Farmers’ Market community. Long before I launched Nev’s, I was here helping out my dad’s farm learning the value of local food, meeting vendors, and getting to know the amazing customers who make this market such a special place. Those early experiences inspired me to start something of my own. At 16, and with the support of the Summer Company Program in Leeds Grenville, I launched Nev’s Sandwiches with one simple goal: to serve thoughtfully made, locally inspired sandwiches that bring people joy. What sets Nev’s apart is a genuine commitment to local sourcing and quality ingredients. I work closely with respected partners like Schwartz’s Deli in Montreal for our famous smoked meat. On top of that, many of our toppings include crisp pickles and fresh sauerkraut that come straight from my family’s own farm. The Nev’s Signature Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich is a customer favorite sliced thick, served hot, and paired with a farm-fresh pickle. We also serve a Grilled Cheese Sandwich that’s simple, comforting, and made with care. Every item on the menu is crafted fresh at the market, with a focus on flavor, quality, and customer satisfaction.
